it legit makes me sad that mm vol 2 isn't good. especially because i know that dematteis is a good writer, and is capable of writing good cosmic stories(COUGH spectre cOUGH) but like...man. i should just reread it again and see if my opinion changes but it's just so :////
#ooc.#its also just the contrast between going from vol 1 which was really fucking good#and then going into vol 2 and the vibes were immediately Very different from jack kirby's original comic#AND different from post kirby vol 1 (issue 19 and after)#it was just so...idk....#i need to reread it but i think in part it comes from its want to Depart scott from the rest of the fourth world stuff#and cosmic themes on a Whole#there are a few issues where i'm like oh yeah we're back and then it never lasts#like i do think about the highfather issue a lot but aside from that like :((#and then the lobo issue. that was fun#but sigh. i just. i don't think it's very good. the comic isn't very good#and that makes me sad!!
