To any of you out there struggling in high school,,
I'm autistic, mentally ill and chronically ill physically,,
I have brain fog from medication and can't remember shit.
And this Friday, I'm picking up my diploma.
I graduated!!
And so can you. No matter what, you can do it!!
I knew people who could skim the text once and get 80% on a test; and I'd spend weeks preparing, but fail miserably anyways.
And it all came down to just...accepting that some things are out of my reach. It wasn't about giving up, but about understanding my own limits. I knew I cant memorise material; so instead I tried to be active, do my homework, show interest,,
And with the support of my friends and teachers, I did it!!
Teachers liked me despite my grades - because they could tell I tried!! You can do it, I believe in you all..!! <3
