I've been reading asoiaf theories on reddit bc House of the Dragon made me want twow even more and saw some people arguing that Brienne/Jaime is not a love story and is totally platonic... like HOW do you miss the obvious romantic undertones like that 😭 (but also if Brienne was beautiful and attractive I just know that this wouldn't happen)

Let's start with Casey and Kayee are not Tobias or Ethan's "women"... they are not their property or belongings. These men would gladly put anyone who suggested the same in their place but quick.

Casey & Kaycee are bright, beautiful INDIVIDUALS, just like Tobias & Ethan. They came together out of desire, love, mutual respect, and adoration. They happily belong to each other - but there is no "my woman" involved here.

And, no, it doesn't bother them because they are all mature adults in their 30s who understand that sex is pretty much the most normal, natural thing someone can do. None are virgins - and they all believe virginity is a ridiculous concept created by men in an attempt to control and shame women. Dude. If I thought Tobias or Ethan bought into that bullshit, they'd be villains in my stories, not LIs.

Please take a moment to think as to why this is a concern for you, but it's not in reverse. How should the women feel about Harper and other past involvements? Let's lose the notion that men are expected and encouraged to be sexual beings, but women are to feel guilty for doing the same. You will NEVER find that on my blog.

Have any of the writers/creators of Sky In Your Heart ever even spoken to a woman before? Seriously. Between Yaya agreeing to the arranged marriage because she saw her husband and he’s hot now, the myriad of girls just throwing themselves at Fah in the bar like he’s the last man on earth and they need to start repopulating, and Kitty who just...don’t even get me started.
