“Is my mom definitely all better? Like for good this time?” Ruby questioned Lena, a little hesitant to believe all this won’t happen again. Of course she trusted Lena and Alex, but... “Because it came back once before and... i’m just... i’m scared she might become evil again. Like what if she hurts people again.” For as long as she could remember, Sam had been such a genuinely caring person; and even though Ruby understood this as some kind alien plague, the idea of her mom hurting anyone didn’t make sense to her.
