086: I love Pixar more than Disney
Leaving aside the technicality that Pixar is part of Disney. I'm assuming you know what I mean.
I risk Mia killing me for this, I know. But to me, Pixar movies evoke a certain kind of emotion, and tell a story better than any way that Disney can.
Don't get me wrong, I ADORE Disney movies. But Pixar just gets to me on a different level, you know? My dad's always saying how Pixar movies are really movies for people of all ages. And they really are.
Because not only are they beautifully done - and they really are gorgeous movies - but they're not just nice looking images. There's real heart and meaning to the stories told. Fantastic humour. Lovely morals.
I just adore Pixar.
