his dad has similar powers to his. and his mom is a regular person. (a ‘reg’ if you will. mundane. whatever you want to call it.)

icicle and celsius did well for themselves too. they might not have been the most well known superheroes - that title went to the commander and his beloved jetstream - but they liked to think that they did all right. eventually, they settled down, started a family. 

icicle, also known as jack winters, is steadily working towards a promotion. 

and his darling celsius? during her day job, she’s known as noelle winters. 

they have a daughter. just one. and ever since her powers manifested, she got a monniker of her own: freeze girl. and that monniker was there to stay. freeze girl didn’t really mind.

besides, it’s a better nickname than her actual name. which was khione. 

khione winters.

not for the first time, she wondered why her parents couldn’t have called her eira, or freya, instead.
