something i want to point out is that finn looks like a doll till he takes his shirt off.
he has no imperfection, his freckles look purposeful, his tattoos blends into his skin due to faint color and barely affect his skin texture due to how old they are. it is as though he is missing his ball-joints. he is incredibly tall and dainty in an unearthly way as if someone built him up. he especially dresses himself how he would dress a beloved doll in his possession. that burnt tissue on his abdomen is the only thing left that proves he's a breathing, living being.
this isn't to say, finn is incredibly attractive and irresistible; this is to remind you he feels unreal, eerie. unless your muse sees doll-like beings talking to them like a period novel protagonist all the time, they are bound to be unsettled or stumped by his presence.
hell, they might feel that way even if they have seen someone like him before, because despite his courteous manners, his scar carries the incident's and his attacker's energy; long exposure to his presence alone can cause hysteria to a regular human, so his general presence being distressing is not too far-fetched. i've added beware the nice ones, innocent blue eyes, femme/homme fatale, glamour failure, the chessmaster, tragic villain, forbidden fruit, wounded gazelle gambit to his horror / slasher verse's tv tropes but it isn't too far off his canonical and verse attributes very much, except for maybe the villain part.
