i think i have discovered the rarest type of bad fanfiction: the premise is intriguing, the writing is engaging and flows really well, but the characterisation is godawful

I wonder it other artists get some hard whiplash when they look at their sketchbooks and see their fandom drawings. Then a turn of a page, it's a whole wildly different fandom and your drawing style had to change slightly (or alot) to accommodate.
