Modern six of crows headcannons I don't care if they don't all fit they are real to me they will try and be bunched but it will be write as they come to me you'll also see my favourite crows by how much for each

Kaz is Russian he was born in Russia his full name is kazmir

He lost his mother in childbirth his father in a farm accident and him and jordie were sperated and later he finds out jordie died

Kaz was a foster kid but was never in one place for long becuse he would be see as trouble or to much work

Kaz has a arfid and often struggles with food insecurity having his arm around his food even when alone

Kaz has a pet bunny named mishka who is grey and likes to lay on his chest when he works in bed

Kaz despites useing his leg brace and a wheelchair he often somehow always 'looses' his leg brace

Kaz is better in autumn and winter but is okay ish in heat probably at the bottom end with mathias but he hides it by being in air con all day

Inej

Inej is either from India or Egypt to me and occasionally speaks the dialect (this would be modern day version of suli)

Inej was sex trafficked as a child like in the books (it's to key part of her story to just not have even in modern)

Inej's favorite fruit is mangos but they are rare to get proper grow ones like she had as a child

Inej does Aerial gymnastics at her local gym

Inej feeds the strays and helps at animal shelters

Inej also has food insecurity issues due to her childhood

Inej often feels like she was robbed of her childhood yet feels shame for wanting 'childish' things

No one beats inej in the heat she is a god in it

Jesper

Jesper has adhd

Jesper as a child faced a lot of bullying both in his community and at school for haveing interracial parents

Jesper liked building things out of scraps as a kid

He enjoy textiles class

Was diagnosed later in life becuse racism within the medical field

Was on the basketball team becuse of his height

Is loweky great with farm animals but petrfied of the chickens

He is okay with the heat not as good as Inej but he still does well

Wylan

Wylan has austim and dyslexia

He loved audio books

Lowkey head of school band

Not a big fan of drinking or party's remind him to much of his childhood home

Vists his dad once a month for dinner becuse he felt obligated to

Managed to go 2 years in secondary school (high school for you Americans) fooling everyone about his English becuse he would just do some. Kids homework for other subjects in order for them to do his English work

Hates pe

Late bloomer

He's meh in heat and cold he prefers autumn and spring but doesn't do Great in cold cold weather or hot hot weather

Nina

Nina absolutely loves her cooking classes she gets everyone to try all her food

Goes all out with jesper on Halloween

Nina loves langauges classes

Grew up in a cult

Is okay with the heat not great but not as bad as mathias

Will model for jespers textile class

Skips pe with kaz

Always carry period products makeup and anything a girl might needed

Will punch a guy no hesitation

Likes sharing her food on her terms like don't just take it she has to offer it

Was bulled often as a kid for her weight so is used to being the but of the joke

Does cheerleading with inej

Mathias does football(is it what the UK call rugby for you Americans)

Terrible in IT class

Former misogynistic

Does not understand modern lingo

Wants to work at a zoo when he's older

Owns a husky will sit out in the snow in just jeans and shirt with the dog and be fine but is dying the moment heat arive

There all in therapy even kaz who has to be taken to therpay and his physio by inej but he goes ! Their all on the spectrum somehow!

Genuine question about one of my posts

So recently I put my inej and knife symbolism post in a six of crows community and 5 hours ago it was removed becuse it was to dark and I genuinely don't understand why? Like I put the trigger warnings on the post and well I get the topic of rape and sa is a hard and uncomfortable topic but I did put the trigger warnings, I get the symbolism I used could be very violent but I don't get how it could be dark? Like I get haveing the post removed if I didn't have any trigger warnings or a cut but I feel like haveing it being removed for being to talk is kinda reinforceing a stigma about sa and rape and not being able to speak out it through symbolism, rape and being assulted is dark and a violent topic and inej in the book is sadly rape and sex trafficking but I think mentions of jordie death or any death in the book or the abuse faced by wylan or any of the trauma the crows went through could be argued as dark then especially kazs childhood with jordie it's very violent and dark I found it even more so then inej's becuse inej's is so sadly normal in society (by normal I mean it happens so much).

I 100% agree the metephore I chose is a dark one and I'm so happy someone told me to use a cut and I did put trigger warnings would it be better if I gave a brief summary of the trigger warnings and dark content before the cut so people could chose to read the 'dark' content? I'm just genuinely confused on why this got deemed as too dark but mentions of kazs childhood is not? When for me I see that as much darker then inej's(even throught inej's childhood is dark and horrible) becuse of how jarring it is to society we live in.

Any help or advice is very much appreciated

Ghosts of the Storm: Backstory. P.2

Kaz asks Nina not to tell anyone about Jordie. Nina continues to observe the brothers' interaction out of the corner of her eye. Kaz tries to walk around the room so as not to walk through Jordie. In crowded places, Jordie clings to Kaz's shoulders. When Kaz is thinking about something, he doesn't just look into the void, he looks at Jordie, who only tilts his head to the side, maintaining eye contact, as if they communicate telepathically. Kaz and Jordie have the same habits and movements, as if they are parodying each other. Jordie tries not to stray far from Kaz, but during jobs he keeps his distance so as not to distract his brother. Sometimes Jordie disappears from her sight for a while, and then Kaz gives them information that he could not have possibly find out. (she no longer wonders why people think he's a monster)

After a couple of weeks of observations, Nina takes Kaz aside from the others.

Nina: Does he always have that expression?

Kaz looks at Jordie, who tilts his head: Almost always, I think. He was more sociable when he was alive.

He doesn't answer any more questions, but Nina will have to witness the change of emotions on the ghost's face in a few days when Kaz gets shot in the stomach during another dubious job. She doesn't want to witness this all-encompassing horror anymore.
