basically says everything I love about Nikita is not out of coincidence and they're truly planned surprises by the writers. Usually when I watch TV I have a lot to complain about especially once the shows go into later seasons but up till now, I completely am on the side of the writers on whatever they produce. Despite some flaws (but they eventually got rid of Nathan so thoroughly). I love how they're using characters like Owen and Ryan and I really think they know their viewers well and understand what they want to see. They aimed for a mature relationship between Michael and Nikita (lol ia about memory loss *cringe*) and I think they really get it and the whole "their universe" thing works out too. Glad that there'll be more of steering everyone together on one mission again in near future eps. Another I like about Nikita is that the plot is layered and so are the characters. They are all after the same yet different things and they all do it with same yet different ways. It's epic when they come together. The constant similarity is that of them are badass as heck. Much as I enjoy Mikita I don't deny I actually like Owen better. That scene about him apologizing the first time to Nikita about Daniel nearly killed me (yes guess who has been rewatching Nikita). While I ship Mikita, I really enjoy Nikita and Owen's...soulmate-ish traits and closeness. You know what they say, you don't have to be lovers to be soul mates. Do I sound like I don't like Michael? Because I do. And it's true that my expectation of this show is higher than others.
