If you hate maths, I don't recommend biology lol. I LOVE and FUCKING ADORE bio, but the cons of studying bio is that there will always be maths involved... whether is Mendelian inheritance, statistics, chemistry... Maths are gonna be there (trust me, I talk from my own experience lmfao). You either cope with that or choose humanities (although for humanities there's business management, which also includes maths lmao). First hand experience, if you want you can! (although the struggle is real!)
that’s veryyyy true. i don’t suck at maths, like, i do well in tests and stuff, it’s just the stupid bloody circles. i HATE circles. like. words honestly can’t encapsulate the pure, unadulterated hatred i hold in my heart for circles... i used to like circles...they used to have such a nice, gentle symmetry...but now...i see circles and i hear my drill sergeant maths teacher hammering all this stupid formula into my head and THEY’RE RUINED.
okay im sorry. sometimes you just gotta rant about circles.
anyways. yeah, i totally see what you mean! as much as i dislike maths, im actually okay at it (...i think?) and i can normally handle the maths-related stuff in biology. or at least as complex as it gets in high-school, as that’s as far as i really want to take my studies for that particular subject.
the struggle sounds v real! thank you for imparting your wisdom to me. i find it really useful to gather life experiences + stories from other people, so thank you for sharing yours with me!
