Do you like spooky minecraft videos?

I used to be obsessed with Let's Play's of those Horror Minecraft Maps back when they were popular in the 2010s. The vast majority were incredibly try-hard or cheesy, but some of them were shockingly well made tbh. Custom texture packs, redstone puzzles, custom codes with command blocks, you name it. This was around the time of 1-6 to 1.7 too, which means pistons had just come out. These things are like the backbone of modern redstone-coding, and folks were already making wild stuff with them back then. I was also a total whimp and still got scared by the jumpscares XD

Modern Minecrafr Horror seems more like mods that add the most over-the-top hostile mobs throwing a basillion effects at you (though tbf that's what those maps also often did), or "Look at my game acting weird" video series in the same style Ben Drowned had (I think folks nowadays call this type of video Analog Horror).

Actually love those AH type vids, I can just never take them seriously with Minecraft in particular. Used to play it on a shared account, and we loaded it full of mods without any idea how mods or versions work. Game randomly crashes and refuses to open afterwards? Giant rectancle hole ate half the castle and there's a single dirt wall with a dropped inventory like 50 blocks to the side? Weird untextured creature coming at you and can't be killed no matter what you try? Yeah Galacticraft didn't agree with Runic Dimensions again. Forgot to switch versions when loading this vanilla world. The magic mod is just Like That. Spent so many hours looking at crash reports, those events in these horror videos just feel like an old dance you liked but hated to do for me >v<

Unlike character concepts, designing is something I'm not that good at(?

In the early days, a lot of my character designs were largely based off of other sources that I thought were cool, then again I guess that's how a lot of designing happens

But design cohesion wasn't really my thing, so a lot of character designs I made ended up looking messy when I tried incorporating too many elements. At some points I was constantly redrawing outfits on a character because I just really didn't like the other one

Although, occasionally some non-media-inspired design choices come to mind. Like, Ashes' weird undercut braid thing

Also I don't know enough about Mobinis <:)
