I fuck up. It's one thing to accept that I'm human and it happens. It's another to dismiss feeling guilt. I don't want my guilt to go away. I want to use it as a reminder to be better than that moment, that action, those words. I was taught to apologize when I have done wrong but over the years I have learned that apologies are nothing but meaningless words if you are not willing to correct the behavior.
