To all remaining Gladiators: I’m still in the fandom but things have changed considerably. The bolded is taken from my updated Tumblr bio.
My main fandom was SCANDAL but Season 5 ruined it for me. I still watch it but more out of an accident bottlenecker desire to see how it ends. 5candal from 5x05 on, especially 5x09, killed my deep love for the show and I don't think it'll ever come back, even if things finally get put right in the future, which I doubt. I'm still a Gladiator in a Hoodie, though for fanfics, Tony Tuesday/Inappropriate Wednesday fan art, liveTWEETING (NO MORE LIVEBLOGGING from 2017 onwards) and the friends I've made via the fandom.
I’ve been liveblogging since late Season 2 and it was fun as hell but after Season 5 and the turn that the show’s taken, I just don’t feel like it’s worthy of at least 5 pages of my Tumblr weekly, anymore. I feel like that space can and should be used for other things.
I will livetweet in 2017 and I will make no hesitation to throw ALL the Shade to anyone who deserves it (my ultimate goal is to be blocked by “The Titan” herself and her pet flounder, along with any other asslickers who allowed her hubris and idiocy to wreck our show) but the Tumblr liveblog is done for good, even on the off chance things get put right in 6.
I’ll also be cutting down on leaving commentary in threads and on gif sets. I don’t have the energy or the enthusiasm like I used to, especially since any positive speculation I come up with has a tendency to be wrong.
But, I’m still around. I said that I’ll stick with SCANDAL to the end and I meant it. I’m just dialing it back considerably.
