Me, yesterday: I'm going to get in the sauna before I head home because it'll help me detox better and I will feel better for work on Monday.
My magic powers: girl, do not do the thing. It will make detox faster, but that is not a good thing. Girl.
Me: I'm gonna do the thing.
Me today: I do not regret the thing, but boy were my magic powers right.
First example of an ability better explained in the manga. She didn't learn it just by watching her father coaching people. He records all the numbers and after years of reading them, she learned to do it on her own. Riko is truly amazing.
If Kagami at this point of the story has off the charts numbers, i truly wonder what the GoM stats are.
No high school first-year should have these measurables, Well a bunch of them do, in fact, defy all logic
I don't often go on about OC shenanigans, but Cure "Sorry I accidentally borrowed your tiger," Kindness is up there.
"I'm happy to have a hitting stick, it's just funny that it's my highest damage weapon."
Where do you get the aforementioned alchemy supplies? What's the first thing you can remember getting for him, and out of curiosity...Varian says you took him to the docks for his birthday once, so what sparked that idea?
You can find alchemy supplies in specialty shops in most kingdoms such as Corona, Neserdnia, Bayangor, etc. I bought him an alembic, it is an alchemical still of 2 vessels connected by a still for distilling substances. I got some odd looks for purchasing ‘wizarding supplies’ but it made Varian happy so I was glad to do it.
I took Varian to the docks for his birthday because they have a nice view and it’s good to travel with your children, talk and get to know them better. *smiles*
I just read your post and I connected so much with it. Especially how watching something with someone who you are close with makes it better and friendships are a two way thing. I shared one of my favorite shows with a friend, but she was older then me and we actually met in her senior year of high school, so even though we know each other irl, we communicated more like internet friends. So she got busy a lot, focusing on starting college then also work plus her very introverted personality (1/
(2/ like I'm a mixed bag, introverted with strangers but more extroverted with people im familiar with, so it felt like I was always the one asking and pushing to watch this show more, it only had 4 seasons, completed and done on Netflix by the time we started but took like 2 years to finish it. At times I did feel pushy and bothering, but since she is really introverted her response to stress is too shut down and I try to be respectful of that. Now a few years of knowing her better, even
(3/ knowing her more now, there were times I felt bad and pushy which almost could have been a fight but we both soft and sensitive so able to go through it. Both and her mom have thanked me and said to not stop because I help her get out of her she'll better. But as much as she is my closet friend, I realize that I should reconnect with some others better, especially since I want to re-watch this long show that I saw most of but didnt finish but with another to share the greatness. She busy too
The feeling of being pushy and bothering the other is the worst part, because you know what they have going on and you want to be a good friend and respect all of that. The problem’s that the other party should also want to be a good friend and should also be willing to put energy into the friendship,
I’m glad it’s working out for you and that you found a pace that makes your friendship work, for the both of you, even if it may not be the ideal. As long as you know what you have.
Sadly, for me there was the point where I had to ask myself where I was in that friendship, especially after our outfall and the things she had said there that were... really fine-tuned and honestly meant to hurt, because she aimed them right where she knew I was insecure anyway.
Sometimes, a good friendship needs time and care. Sometimes, a good friendship whithers and dies and you gotta be ready to admit that it’d dead and that you’re dragging around a corpse. (Well, that metaphor got dark and morbid quickly...)
I hope you find someone who’s gonna make the time for you and who’s willing to watch this show you care about with you! Also I am now curious; what is the show in question?
