I randomly stumbled on this vid by Gektix and I thought it needs more love. Especially it being really well made and adorable.

Bleach - Chapter 1
My second hero for the campaign I’m preparing is Icarus Saragath, a 102 year old triton valor bard.
Icarus grew up in a city under siege. Not far from it, a cult of an aboleth had dug in and even with the city’s best efforts they couldn’t root them out. Many people lost loved ones to this cult that made a habit of kidnapping as many citizens as they could get their hands on and, through the aboleth’s influence, turn them into cult members. One of those captured citizens was Icarus’ mother, who was kidnapped after an ambush when Icarus was barely 14. Even so, he managed to live a pretty comfortable childhood, making friends everywhere he went. As the middle child of 5 siblings, he did not have a lot of pressure on him, so he could afford to liberally dabble in the bardic arts, which he became quite proficient with. For the first half of his life he was reasonably happy: he did what he liked, helped out with the family business sometimes, fell in love and married a woman named Adora who he cherished more than his life.
Unfortunately for him, the cult’s kidnappings eventually escalated into full war with the city, as they started openly attacking. He was quickly conscripted into the city’s army as the attacks grew worse and he fought a in few battles. However, on one fateful day, he found himself on the battlefield, face-to-face with his mother and Icarus froze, unable to raise his trident against her. He ran away from the fight, which didn’t go unnoticed and he was branded a deserter and was shunned and exiled from the city. With his life now shattered, Icarus made his way to the surface world, hoping to find a way to forget his shame.
I don’t remember when was the last time I had this much fun writing a chapter of the song of love. I think the story will have a good finale!
