Reasons why I, personally, have wished I was born male: -easier urination in the wild -less risk of STIs -being taken seriously when upset (instead of having all negative emotions being blamed on my reproductive organs) -easier to buy shirts (boobs are the worst) -no need to worry about ill-fitting bras (boobs are the worst) -no need to prove that you know what you're talking about, people believe you -not being told to smile all time (dear 80 year old men, you're not helpful or sweet, you're creepy as hell) -just.... not wearing a shirt, god I wish I could be shirtless (boobs are the worst) -BATHING SUITS (no worries about finding a top that has enough support to contain the boobs while also not having so much padding that your boobs don't fit inside, you just find some shorts) (boobs are the worst) -no periods -the self-assurance (from my experience, girls aren't taught to be so cocky and confident) -orgasms -short hair (I know a lot of girls do have short hair but I just can't do it. I can't) -short nails (I keep getting questioned on it, like, mind your business? I have things to do. I can't have 2" nails) -being unapologetically weak ("yeah I have no muscles what of it?" Instead of being made fun of as the little girl who can't lift a 24 pack of waterbottles) -being unapologetically tall (dudes seem to just be so chill about how much space they take up while I'm sitting here like "my dad's 6'4" and I'm SORRY) -being expected to succeed (like yeah, I'm STILL not putting boys and parties above school work. Stop acting like this is strange and surprising) -body hair, no shame -stroll downtown, no fear -no competition in singing (just being a guy and singing kind of okay automatically puts you in the lead role of every highschool production) -better research into health care (scientists barely know what a vagina is) -no makeup ("oh, you don't have to wear it" I will stop breathing without it) -better media representation -better shot at leadership rolls (take uuuuuhhhh the president, for example) -I don't even know if women CAN be priests
