re: lrb tags. i think all the time about the hair-pulling/shaking scene like. man. if that's what shang de was okay with doing to him in public, in a room with other people including another hero in it, what the fuck does he do to intimidate nice in private
#ooc#it's upsetting!!!!#also incredibly upsetting to think about how close nice might have been in that moment to someone noticing and helping him#smile was right there. if he'd just turned his head a little he would've seen what was happening#and i have no doubt in my mind that if he'd seen that he would've intervened#and the fact that that didn't happen is a whole tragedy all on its own#miss j was there too... i wonder where she falls in this. is she complicit? or simply unaware? there's really no way to know#she never speaks about the treatment nice endured so it's up in the air how much she knows#considering how she chewed out the photographer for giving nice bad directions i'd like to think she'd be on his side#but she's also. quite frankly. a ruthless career woman. so maybe she'd just let it go#not worth rocking the boat and going against her direct superior over this#i could really see it going either way with her#anyways this has been your nightly nicey ramble session
