Hey do any ita baggers have any tips for keeping rosettes or other flat objects secured to the outside of your bag?

I've tried double sided mounting tape a few times but it keeps falling off, and I'd prefer if I can later remove it, so I'd like to avoid using E6000 (my bag is also one of the faux leather ones so I'd rather not pin anything directly to it)
