I rewatched some eps and...

So yukiko deduced that vermouth disguised as someone and asked Itakura to complete the program but what was the basis for this?

She also had a fight with itakura when he was still a CG designer.

He became a system engineer later on.

What if it was someone else that Itakura talked to on the phone. Even if it was a disguise then it can be based on a real person. There can be another entity who had a cat. We haven't seen vermouth with a cat (but a dog in movie Black Iron Submarine)

Also why did Conan gave BO the program, he could have given them an empty disk or Itakura's diary if they couldn't prepare an blank disk.

Now that they have an incomplete program they might be looking for another system engineer to complete it or they already have found someone who is working on it.

Happy New Year!🥳 This is one of the last places we visited with Freeschool #I CAN. I had visited Eshini Hall before, and @toddstafford has visited here before, but the Eshin no Sato Memorial Hall was a nice place to get a cup of coffee while enjoying a beautiful view. The cut-outs on display were created by an eighty year old artist and represent the 12 animal zodiac signs of each year. 2019 is the year of the boar. Eshin, the Buddhist nun and wife of Shinran, has some writings and letters displayed here, but photos are not allowed.
