It all starts with a conversation. 🗣 Here in the Pacific Northwest I’ve been in Clean Beauty meetings all week. What is a clean beauty meeting, you ask? Its basically an in-person conversation with someone about cosmetics, laws, and WHY I choose to do what I do with BeautyCounter. I talk about WHY I decided to dedicate my life to sharing facts like this one: In the USA the FDA has banned only 11 chemicals on Cosmetics with the last law being updated in 1938. Since then there have been over 16,000 chemicals used in the cosmetic industry. 😲 The European Union “EU” bans 1300. At #Beautycounter , we ban over 1500. We go above and beyond to make sure our ingredients are clean, AND sustainable. We are one of the few cosmetic companies that 3rd party test and batch test our products. We are also a certified B Corp too. 👌🏼 It’s really good for you, your family and the earth! 🌍 I’m so proud of all my amazing family and friends that are asking to join me and making the switch to safer products this week.
