ITASA 2017 Conference Bidding
Wow, do you see how many great leaders are in these photos? These were all the regional conference teams from the 2015 conferences and they were able to host conferences at their schools by bidding for them. ITASA regional conferences only happen when there are groups of individuals from a school that form a team to make a plan to host the next conference at their school and bid for it at the next regional conference. ITASA is currently accepting regional conference bids for the ITASA 2017 Conferences and the next regional conference could be at YOUR school! This is a great way to gain a huge amount of leadership experience, demonstrate how dedicated and creative your Taiwanese American/Asian American community on campus is, and show off how awesome your own school is. The deadlines for intent to bid and final bid submissions are different than what the packets may say. If you are in need of clarification, please email [email protected].
The deadline to submit your intent to bid will be 3 weeks prior to the regional conference you will be bidding for (ex: if you are bidding for ITASA 2017 Midwest Conference, the deadline to submit your intent to bid will be 3 weeks before the ITASA 2016 Midwest Conference).
Here are the deadlines for each regional intent to bid: ITASA 2017 East Coast Conference - Thursday January 21 ITASA 2017 Midwest Conference - Friday March 18 ITASA 2017 West Coast Conference - Friday March 10
Final bid submissions will be due one week prior to the regional conference date. You will be required to email it to this year's ITASA Conference Liaison.
