IMPORTANT HEADCANONS TO CONSIDER !
can they use chopsticks // yes, and well! part of her finishing lessons as a kid involved learning dining etiquettes from a number of cultures.
what do they do when they can’t sleep // reads research papers on her padd, mostly. sometimes she’ll get up and make herself a warm drink— no dairy after 1600, so usually a hot toddy or something.
what would they impulse buy at the grocery store // nothing. ever. girl joined starfleet on an impulse. but snack foods? nah brah. ( maybe sometimes she’ll pick up a gossip mag. shhh. )
what order do they wash things in the shower // nails, face, hair, neck, torso down, conditioner. cold water for 30-90 seconds before she gets out.
what’s their coffee order // literally whatever is in front of her. she likes a good light roast, honestly. black. but she is appreciative of any good coffee, and on-shift she’ll drink jet fuel.
what sort of apps would they have on their smartphone // a paid video call app her mother insists has a much better picture than the preinstalled one. a few library and ereader apps. some specialty medical journal stuff. some dumb educational games — “trace the right constellation!” and whatever’s the best trek-era music streaming app. some yoga/workout programs. probably some guided mediation app. she’ll install anything that sounds vaguely interesting, tbh. goes through every few months and purges whatever she realizes she never uses.
how do they act around children // not very differently from how she acts with adults. she’s already maternal friendly as a default, and she doesn’t like talking down to kids too much. curses significantly less, though.
what would they watch on tv when they’re bored & nothing they really like is on // she doesn’t watch a lot of tv to begin with, honestly. if there’s nothing she actively wants to see, the screen is probably just off.
