"Jace knew that he should probably be worried about all the weird supernatural shit that he was currently involved in, but he was more worried about the snacks he was going to consume watching the Germany-Argentina game."
“Jace, we get it,you’re not into the whole, you know, things that go bump in the night,” Stiles sighed with his usual zealousness, “but, you gotta focus here. We’re stuck in the middle of the Mexican desert and I kinda need some help with the thingy-mabob.”
Jace waved a uninterested hand, “You’ve got this bro.” And, without missing a beat, he returned to his mumblings. hmm, maybe some guac and chips, oh, and some drinks, gotta remember that. No, popcorn is perfect. Wait, what did Jamie want?
Jace turned around and looked out at the three girls — Kira, Malia, and Jamie — standing a ways away from the jeep. “Grant, hey. What snacks did you want again? I can probably find a cheap place down here to get them and we can bring them home.”
“Jace,” Jamie yelled over her shoulder, her tone giving away her unhappiness yet amusement by Jace’s one-track-mind, “We ain’t got time for that. Shut up and help Stiles.”
