It does too count for #Straturday! 😀 1958 #Harmony #Stratotone spotted moments ago at @folkwaymusic in Waterloo, Canada. I don’t usually go nuts for anything that isn’t a #Fender, #Gibson, #Gretsch, #Rickenbacker etc., but I gotta say this one had me pacing. First, it looks so cool. Second it’s incredibly clean for its 60 years. Third, those #dearmondpickups sound incredible. Fourth, it’s gotta weigh no more than about 4 and a half pounds! It may be the lightest electric guitar I have ever picked up, being quite small and fully hollow (swipe for the body closeup where you can see there is actually a hole in the top just near the switch - it’s visible through that the semi-transparent pickguard). Plus it’s really affordable at CAD $1495...way less than most new Gibsons/Fenders etc. And half the price of the least expensive #CustomShop models. And so much vibe. So why didn’t I buy it? Sadly a disease I have called GPAS (Guitar Purchase Addiction Syndrome. Although you won’t find this illness in the ICD-11, I assure you it is VERY real!), has made me chronically broke. But my loss could be your gain! 😆 #strat #itdoescountforstraturday #harmonyguitars #guitar #guitars #guitarra #chitarra #guitarre #electricguitar #vintageguitar #tone #vintageharmony #guitargear #guitarsofinstagram #geartalk #guitargear #vintagegear #guitarsdaily #guitarphotography
