I planted perennial and annual milkweed in a container. Milkweed is great to have around but it is an invasive species so planting it directly in the ground can be an issue. However, I talked with an expert from our local nursery who explained that even potted perennial milkweed will regrow if it is properly cared for – and the seeds will probably still spread. I also need to add that I could not see at all to take this photo. My glasses and the face paint were incompatible. Still, it was probably the most fun I had all hunt. – Deidra

This was surprisingly fulfilling! I submitted my application to a few projects, and even had a response before the end of the hunt. We met the following Monday and I'm signed on to consult with an organization whose mission is powerfully close to my heart! We've had two consultation meetings so far, and hope to wrap up our project in December, when I can tell you all about it! -Jez
