         “ Do you think he crashed the car on purpose? “ The phone feels all too heavy in his hand when his mother tells him the horrible news, shaking as he struggles to keep it held against his ear. His heart sinks down to the pit of his stomach as she goes on, tears threatening to fall as he listens. He’s glad his father is still alive, but he’s also in critical condition, which worries him deeply. “ O-Okay. Just keep me updated on how he’s doing, and I promise I’ll try to make it up there as soon as I possibly can. I love you. Tell dad I love him too. “ As soon as he hangs up, he buries his face into his hands, not even caring about who’s seeing him cry. His rough day just got even worse.

lightly tapping his index finger ontop of his bent knee at no particular tune, the raven haired lad stared in front of him. deep brown eyes staring at the person in front of him that he had called in to meet with. hyungwon was at least kind enough to actually do that at least, he’s not all that cruel as the whispers do say on how the young chae was nothing but a heartless person and only lives off on his fame thanks to being the late child of the chae’s -which may or may not be true, depending on how you view it-. “you look like shit” the words slipped past his naturally plump lips, the tips twitching upwards though only for a brief moment. he leaned back against the smooth leather chair, head tilted to the side while his finger continued the so faint ‘tap, tap’ ontop of his knee. “if anything i should probably say you should....retire from this business. not good for your health afterall” the young male continued.

Why Did I Follow Them?: I’ve found their writing to be really good and how the narrative, while not as flower-y, is still as beautiful in telling the story from the perspective of the muse.

🔥- To sit in front of the fireplace with my muse.  ( doctor house and doctor x xD )

airi was invited over at haekyeon’s after the summer downpour that drenched them both. it was a bit awkward for her to be changing into his clothes while in his place but it was either that or ending up sick.coming out of the bathroom she was holding the shorts up because they were loose around her waist. "i don't want to complain but i need -" and before she said anything else she was given paper clips. "how thoughtful!" she used the paper clips to keep the pants in place and went to sit in front of the fire place. brushing her hair in front of it with her fingers she shivered waiting for the warmth to engulf her. 

"can you make hot chocolate or am i asking for too much. haekyeon shook his head at her and she frowned. "i can't either! the only thing i am good at is operations." she lifted her fet in front of the fire to wiggle her toes and warm them up too. "and table tennis!" she added bringing down her feet. "each to their own i guess." he said and airi laughed loudly shaking her head. "oh i see, you make fun of your sunbae!" she grabbed his cheeks to pull them as if he was luffy and she was nami from one piece. "there!" she let go of him only to end up getting her hair ruffled. it was true sacrilage! her eyes narrowed so much from the shock so she sat seiza style instead and pretended to be calm about it but soon grabbed his head to ruffle his hair back in return. he whined of course so she let go of him. "don't mess with the sunbae!" she said plopping on her back and closing her eyes. the fabric of the shirt was lifted slightly revealing her naval. "just in case you want to poke, don't! i will screech!" she said fixing the shirt on her.  closing her eyes again she smiled thinking that it was nice of him to try and break the awkwardness. "thank you hoobae!"

He didn’t really understand what drove him to do it. They were just talking about something that he had long forgotten now. She was talking so passionately about the subject, just like she did all the time. Airi was always so passionate, so open with her feelings. It amazed him really. he was always the logical one out of the two of them but what he just did was completely illogical. In the middle of her sentence he leaned forward  suddenly, pressing his lips against her own. He didn’t touch he apart from that, keeping his hand on the cane as a form of restraint. Haekyeon stayed there for a moment, Enjoyed the feeling of her lips against his own before pulling away to his original position. “What were you saying?” 

airi was just talking about the time when they met at the war zone and how they tackled the first surgery there together. she was there before he had arrived and of course she was the ‘senpai’ hence she had him as his assistant. it was when he first saw her operating and how he thought that she was crazy. but airi was used to those comments. and then she reminded him of when they had at least twenty heavily wounded patients to tackle. she had seen so many gruesome things in the warring zone at the time and thanks to her experiences there learned a lot. but suddenly and when she was still talking she saw him leaning close and thought that he was just going to possibly catch a fallen lash on her cheek but no, he kissed her and her heart throbbed loudly in her chest for a second. when he pulled away she thought that she had imagined it but it couldn’t have been that. she stared at him with a confused expression on her face when he asked her what she was saying. she hadn’t kissed anyone since her university days and it was a huge shock to her. still registering it not knowing what to say or do. she raised her finger ready to ask something but stopped only to stare. then she messed up her short hair out of frustration “what did --”she stopped herself again  “why -” no she didn’t have the question formed yet in her mind. “did you ---” no no that wasn’t the right question either. she grabbed her glass of whiskey and drank the resty of the glass in one go. “i forgot what i was saying, you shocked me!” she finally said and laughed awkwardly.
