7. Favorite author?
I- Uh- fuck. @joyousandverywarlike definitely counts as a fave author for me. But real books? Currently LOVING N.K. Jemisin!! & Paul Stewart has a special place in my heart because I love all the books in The Edge Chronicles.
12. How do you deal with self-doubts?
OOH! Good Question! I don’t. LMAO. kidding. I usually go to someone to read over what I’ve written and see what they say. We are our own worst critics and often times see the bad in what we are writing where as some one else see’s the amazing brain you have. I also try not to compare my writing style with others. Everyone has a unique way of interpreting words, idea’s, and translating it onto a page. If you get too caught up in comparing the way YOU write with someone else's, it can really eat at you. And, practise, practise, practise writing!
13. How do you deal with writers block?
bruh, I kind of just hope I get struck with inspiration. LMAO. Nah, I kid (kind of). If I am stuck, again, I will talk idea’s through with someone, or I will try and think of it from another angle (like a different character's perspective), I will listen to music and read the lyrics, or I will watch a show/movie related to what I’m writing to see if there’s something, in particular, I am stuck on, i.e. dialogue, maybe what the character is wearing. I also read books! I find that after reading, I can usually write better and more freely.
