Where do broken hearts go?
Isn’t it ironic, the things we do to live, are the things than can kill us.(rk)
Love is the most powerful thing in the world. And because of love we can be at our best or even at our worst. Unfortunately, because of love our hearts can be broken, not literally broken perhaps it is emotionally broken. Mending a broken heart is never easy, there’s no shortcut to stop your heart from hurting, and it takes time to heal. And the question is?
Where do broken hearts go? To be honest, I find it hard to answer and I keep on asking myself. Where do broken hearts go? Do they go to Sagada? Baguio? Manila? Palawan? Batanes? Or do they go in the front of a refrigerator and seek for food? Or do they party all night to ease the pain? Or do they go to someone who will make them stand up in their deepest fall?
For me to know the answer, I decided to do some little survey. And based on the survey I conducted, 3 out of my 15 friends told me that they go to a peaceful place like church and beautiful places where they can think and mend their broken hearts. 5 out of 15 says that they go to someone that had a “Band-Aid” meaning someone that can heal their broken hearts, someone that will understand and accept them at the worst time of their life. 4 out of 15 say that broken hearted people go to kitchen because if they can't fill our hearts with love, we fill our stomachs with food. And 3 out of 15 say that they go where they want to be and where they should be, that there is no exact place where do they go. It is a mystery. To conclude, there so many answers, there’s no right or wrong answer to that trending question. But sometimes, some questions are better left unanswered.
Before I end my speech, I would like to tell that letting your heart to be broken is not stupidity, it only shows how brave you are to take some risk to someone you know in the first place, will not last. Have you ever been hurt or broken? Did you ever ask yourself, “Where do broken hearts go?”
