“I just wanted to help,” said Link, mouth slipping into a frown. He was Hyrule’s Hero, after all. And if his reasons for volunteering so quickly to help Revali were a little selfish—even then, at least he would still be fulfilling his duty either way, right?
Revali’s gaze sliced into his own. Normally Revali made his feelings on everything obvious, whether or not anyone wanted him to, but this time, Link found himself unable to parse Revali’s expression. “I didn’t need your help,” he said quietly. “I don’t need your help.”
“I’m still giving it to you anyway.”
