Here’s a quick summary on how the AU goes:
Each monster can play music with their SOUL, However each monster has an ability to add more. Good example is gaster is made out of sound itself. He can make music with his body with different tempo’s and beats, however his soul is in pieces and is fragmented around the timeline, so his sound and music is not that noticeable unless you’re lucky enough in the game.
The same story goes as follows, Human falls to the underground and meets monsters along their travels. instead with battle boxes think of it close to either Guitar Hero or Ongaku (a online game)
