5 books you wish you could read again ?
most of all I wish I could read brideshead revisited by evelyn waugh for the first time again, because I know it so well from having written my dissertation on it and it just means so much to me. besides that I’d say:
the charioteer by mary renault
giovanni’s room by james baldwin
the bell jar by sylvia plath
the girls by emma cline
also I know you said 5 but I have to include yaa gyasi’s homegoing on this list. there are so many books that I’ve just deeply enjoyed and wish I could experience new again (renault’s alexander trilogy, the secret history, the owl killers, neverwhere, the song of achilles, etc) but these ones all had a really profound affect on me and I deeply related to them as I was reading
I honestly don't know how anyone could be so .. there's not a fitting word for what Danielewski does with his own words in House of Leaves
