There’s a lot to be said for living in a city but man sometimes I miss growing up in suburban, spread-out Texas plains where absolutely nothing was ever happening so you pass the time by sitting in a taco shop with your friends until 9pm and then sitting in the parking lot until midnight, or driving to target just to walk around and not buy anything, or going to a playground at night when there’s no one there and listening to the crickets.....idk but there’s just something special about making adventures out of absolutely nothing.
