Okay but alternate Halloween of 1981 where Voldemort shows up and is greeted by a stag who just headbuts him. And Voldy is so confused that he gives up and goes home. No one dies, no one walks over a dead body to clutch another one creepily. Lily makes a nice Sunday dinner the next day and uncle Moony and Pads come over to laugh with them. They all live. Happily.
