Today I got a new dress shirt(with a couple other shirts). -rant warning below- It's been about a year since I got my first binder and started buying more guy clothes. The first month was the hardest(coming out) but it was still so freeing for me. I got to actually wear what I wanted. I have a picture of me attempting to bind with an ace bandage and sports bra, all dressed up. And I was so freaking happy that I looked even somewhat flat chested. Looking through old pictures of me when I had long hair, it just doesn't look like me and it never did. I'm 100% sure I never truly identified as a girl even when I was really young, I just didn't know any other option really. I had to wear dresses and makeup to attempt to hide who I was. I /really/ didn't like being put into the female category, I hated it. So I'm damn well is freaking glad I can wear what I want and do what I want appearance wise because after for so very long I can see myself in pictures. Even if I'm not sure 100% what term I would go by, I know I'm just being me.
