No no no y’all don’t understand I just watched this dude’s video series on YouTube where he literally spent several months GATHERING BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE OF HIM JOINING AND THEN GETTING KICKED OUT OF SCIENTOLOGY. THIS DUDE WAS A PART OF SEA ORG

He literally went in with spy cam glasses and was recording audio on his phone. He went through hours and hours of quite literally brainwashing (a lot of which was recorded), to the point where he was so confused about an actual memory of him breaking his collarbone and going to the hospital that he had to get a buddy who was there to recount it to him after. He was invited to a party with some of the most powerful people in Scientology and got to see the leader of Scientology speak. They encouraged him to steal to get the money to buy their crap, it’s INSANE

Okay the WEIRDEST THING is going going down right now

So some guy in Michigan in the US has just found a letter in his grandmother’s house; it seems to be a pen pal letter from 1973ish, and it’s from a young Welsh girl. In it, she lists:

Her name, and the names of her brother (Gwynedd) and sister (Catrin)

Their ages

Where she lives in Wales (Denbigh)

Her hobbies, including horse riding and reading pony books.

So this American dude decides to take a photo, whack it on Twitter and ask the only Welsh person he knows if there’s any way to track this Welsh girl down, because you know, ALL WELSH PEOPLE KNOW EACH OTHER, OBVIOUSLY

Welsh person he tags doesn’t know, but takes up the challenge. Someone reckons the Catrin might be a woman who translated a hymn book once, and checks the foreword to see that the dates and ages do seem to be about right. Someone else suddenly has a brainwave - wait, isn’t she the mother of Steff, the comedian?

My husband gets tagged, takes one look at this letter, and is like “That is 1000% my aunt.”

So now it’s 20 to midnight, Steff’s aunt has obviously not yet seen the excited message to put Twitter out of their misery, and my mother-in-law is currently on the phone gleefully telling us that when that letter was written her sister had never sat on a horse in her life before, and she’d lied to an American pen pal for clout before the internet even existed.

It probably wasn’t pesticides. It was more likely a difference in the amount of gluten in the bread.

North American bread has a much higher gluten content, because there is a higher gluten content in North American wheat and other grains. This is because the grains need it to survive the generally colder climates of North America, so they’ve been bred to have a higher gluten content, which helps insulate the grains from the cold.

So it’s not that the higher amount of gluten is illegal in other places, it’s simply just not necessary, and so it’s not there.

And so North American people who have gluten intolerances often see relief when they eat European bread, due to it not containing the extra gluten.

This is an incredibly common phenomenon.

If you are a North American with a gluten intolerance, now doubting the legitimacy of that because of this video or screenshot, I promise they aren’t poisoning you, they’re just trying to make sure that people in North America can have their own wheat, flour, and bread without the logistics and high price of shipping it across the Atlantic Ocean.

Very embarrassing obviously given how hard she's tried to rebrand as a progressive pop girlie who loves the gays which is why every version of the song you can find online including the music video has erased the lyrics, which means you can only find it in the actual hard copies of the album from 2006.
