oh dont get me wrong i am an Angst Enjoyer!!!!! absolutely beat the shit out of the characters that i project onto its very cathartic🙏 but doing it about his sexuality will be messy because thats so much bigger than just angst yk??
young queer people deserve to have representation of themselves Happy not just endlessly pining after straight people(which also. weird trope. overused and implies queer people just thirst over hets all the time which isnt true) and then being rejected.
but more than that, it would just be bad writing if they give will the unrequited storyline bc if mike is straight then his character motivations dont make sense and hes written very inconsistently.
so yes!! pile on the angst i love to see it!! but dont do it if its going to be harmful to groups of viewers or if it doesnt make sense narratively. if they wanna do mike rejection route through vecna trance then that would totally slay but just actual mike doing it??? i know my worstie and he simply would not bc hes in love w will (Real And True)
