Alright, so, and I realise this is quite unrealistic, but I can still dream: Alright, so what if they're trying to fight the dark one and you know how Rumple (I'm gonna hit him) loved Belle, just not more than what he had always loved before (power)? Well, what if Hook expels the darkness from Emma? Like, what if she still manages to love him, even if only a fraction as she did before, and he brings out goodness. That goodness grows until her heart is light again and the dark one is destroyed
oh i think you are absolutely right and i’ve actually had this idea myself! as we saw in season 1, a true loves kiss is strong enough to break any curse (including the curse of the dark one.) We saw Rumple slowly becoming the man he once was when he and belle kissed, but Rumple chose his power over love. Emma is different. Emma became the dark one as a sacrifice, not for power. She doesn’t want the power of the dark one. So I think its highly likely that they will parallel season one with a tlk to break her curse, but instead of pushing it away, Emma will accept it. Because she will always choose love over power, whereas Rumple has always chosen power over love.
