A Mirror World where Devona was offered a spot at T Corp.'s prestigious Time Collections Agency as compensation for their "unprecedented" academic experience (and to stop them from leaking what they'd seen).
As you would imagine, a job at a Nest all about time, surrounded by clocks and ticking pocket watches, is miserable for Devona. Their already-dwindling patience has worn so thin that they've become restless and ill-tempered. They'll give you about five seconds to make your case before they get bored and pull out their pickaxe. And that's if they even bother to listen. Most days, they'll accelerate their temporal perception to the point all noise becomes indistinguishable, just so they can "skip to the good part". The good part being collections: swinging around their pickaxe and sucking the stolen time out of poor, unprepared time tax evaders.
Unfortunately, no matter how much they try to drag out a fight, it always ends just a little too quickly.
