It amazes me how easily this whole process went when I took my hand out of it and allowed God to put his hand in it. How when I stopped idolizing marriage in an effort to fix my broken childhood through getting my own husband and “doing it the right way,” God showed me the best way, which was through submitting myself whole heartedly to Him so he could make me the right woman for the right man. Now, here I am, being pushed closer and closer to God DAILY by the man he’s set before me, my promise of purity to God being honored (to the extent of us not even kissing) because that same man loves me and exhibits it through honoring my purity of heart and body, and walking completely in alignment with God and His will for my life.
