What playing a silly app puzzle game taught me about life.
So, I love puzzles. I especially love Bubble Pop. Bubble Pop is a little more challenging than the traditional color coded connector puzzles.
I had been doing crossword puzzles on an app. An ad popped up for a Bubble Pop game I had never tried before. I went for it.
It was somewhat challenging. I found the “helps” useful on more difficult levels. Sometimes the puzzles were so difficult I’d scream. I’d be thinking, “Never again! They make these puzzles so hard you can’t solve it. How does anyone ever get passed this? What sadist made this? I Quit!” Then two minutes later, I solve the puzzle and move on to the next level. I’d forgotten how difficult the last level was. I relish my victory and move on.
I thought one day how this game app was a metaphor for life. Even when it seems difficult and at its most unbearable KEEP PUSHING FORWARD. Accept the challenge. Don’t let the game beat you. Ride the wave. Savor the adventure called life. One day you will look up and it’s over. Game End.
Everything passes. Hold on. Don’t give up! Keep pressing forward.
