It's been a ride. Two months. Two months ago, one of my best friends, Sabrina, asked me to beta read her fanfic. I was surprised and kind of scared at first, it wouldn't be my first time as a beta reader, but she's special to me and I wouldn't want to disappoint her. To be honest, I was really surprised with her writing. For this of you who don't know, I'm a journalist and I'm a reader since always, I always read everything - good stuff and bad stuff. And Sabrina wrote such a good work. Her fanfic, which I like to call a book, was beautifully written. The love story between a body guard and a famous book writer. The plot may seem cliché at first, but one thing that the story was not was cliché. She impressed me with the cliffhangers, the choice of words, the romantic speeches, the drama. Oh, the drama. She broke my heart in millions of pieces but she managed to bring them together once again. I love the main characters but my favorite one was Wynonna, I've never hidden it from Sab. Even though her appearances weren't very frequent, when she was there, Wynonna was a blast. Funny, sarcastic, lovely. Amazing! Today, we reach the end of a (short) journey. I'm finishing the epilogue and let me say, it is amazing. What Sabrina wrote, between the lines, has helped me and my heart to survive the past few days, which weren't easy. For that, I'm always grateful. Keep up the good work, mate.
