"So it's both then?" Zack cocked an amused eyebrow before leaning back in his chair. The man's discomfort is apparent, and the ExSOLDIER decides to lay off for now. "Forgive me for wanting to live vicariously through you. I do know Cloud, although it's been a while since I've actually seen him." There's longing in his voice, no matter how hard he tries to cover it up.

Jude nods his head, frowning slightly. "Why do you want to live vicariously through me?" He asked, slightly confused, he tipped his head to the side. "Cloud has been rather busy lately... Sometimes its weeks between seeing him again." He lets out a small sigh, trying to think back to when exactly was the last time he had seen Cloud.

"And by visit, you mean, have life-altering sex?" Oh Zack was anything but the type to beat around the bush. "Or so I assume." He didn't actually know of course. "So how is it? Soft and slow? Or does he make your teeth rattle in your skull?~"

His jaw opens and closes a few times, eyes nearly bulging out of his head at the questions. He looks away from Zack, completely at a loss for words. They had just met! This wasn't the type of conversation you had with someone you just met! Hell! He wouldn't discuss this with someone he had known forever!. His cheeks turn a brighter red and he shakes his head, clearing his throat. "What Cloud and I do is none of your business." He says, trying to make his voice sound as strong as possible, even though it came out nearly a whisper.

"I agree. But I was never entirely appropriate to begin with." Raising an eyebrow, the raven-haired man gives Jude a sly little smirk. "So I'll take it by that cough that you are. And there's no way all of his visits are just for repairs, he stays much longer than that."

Brown eyes widen and he looks away from Zack. "He does stay and visit for a while." Jude says quietly, hoping that answer would satisfy him enough. His hand went to his hair again, giving it a tug as he tried to will the blush away from his cheeks.

"So that's how you met him? You repaired his arm or his spinal implant?" Zack was overly curious about anything he could learn about the man he loved, and yet stayed away from. "So they hurt him at all?" He also couldn't help but eye up the engineer one more time. Cloud certainly did know how to pick 'em.

Jude frowned slightly as Zack eyed him, but said nothing, instead nodding his head. "Yeah, I've repaired both of them now." He nods his head, hand tugging nervously at his hair. "I'm not sure who has hurt him... but he has shown up here a bit worse for wear a few times. Why? Whats it to you?"

That large smile pulls over his lips as he hops down from the sill and shakes Jude's hand. "Zack. Sorry for just dropping in like this, but I hear that you know someone rather well-known in my verse." The raven haired man gave Jude a quick once over before continuing. "A certain blonde, spikey headed, sword-toting hero?"

"I do?" His brown raises as he shakes the man's hand. The engineer's head tilts to the side as Zack describes one of the few people he knew best. "Cloud?" He asks. "Yeah, I know Cloud. I did a few repairs for him."

Just before climbing down into the window of the engineer's flat, Zack was sure to have every bit of feather disappear from sight - so that he would appear as a normal man. Slipping into the window like a graceful cat, the tall man sat on the sill and looked around. "Jude?" Oh yes, he knew his name.

Jude frowns, looking at the hard drive that was in his hands. How odd, he hadn't heard a portal or a knock at the door... He looks around noticing the man sitting at the window. Someone new. A smile formed on his  face and he moved closer. "Yes, I'm Jude. How can I help you, Mr...?" He extends his hand.

After the handshake, Zack tips his head to one side with a smile. "So do you think you can help me out with a simple routine?" He gave his wings one more stretch. "I can't reach all my feathers to preen them and --" He turned to show off the backs of his wings. "They start to get ratty looking."

Always one to want to help others – Mikas is not about to turn Zack away – and he’s delighted to help in any way he can.  “I can see that.  I’d be more than happy to lend a hand.  Or two.”  Nimble fingers card through the incredibly soft and fluffy feathers.  Untangling as he goes, ever a tender touch was this one.

"Indeed I was." That large grin of him nearly overcomes the rest of his face, reaching a clawed hand out to the farmer. "I'm Zack. I know Cloud, and he has nothing but good things to say about you~" Zack stretches those lovely wings out behind himself, clearly showing off.

Mikas hesitates – if only to admire those wings one more time – and then he encases Zack’s hand with his own.  The warmth emanating there is much like his eyes and smile, all over kind.  That’s Mikas for you.  “Very nice to meet you Zack.”  And there might be a little bit of heat along the shells of his ears at hearing Cloud’s been praising him.
