I was teaching my sister how to play DnD last night and she rolled Lawful Good so her character is OBSESSED with following the rules

And I needed a name for an NPC so I named him Professor Patton because I’m on a Sanders Sides tear rn and she’s got no clue why @itsbaconbits beamed when I named the NPC Patton and whenever my sister was roleplaying to the professor about doing what he told her to do and following the rules, I could see @itsbaconbits physically restraining herself from hissing,

It was great fun XD

DM: The air gets more humid as you descend this spiral staircase into the darkness below.

Me: Aw man there’s gonna be a lava pit at the bottom.

Bacon: *fails an Acrobatics check as we descend slippery stone steps*

DM: As you slide, you see that the bottom is completely covered in magma!

Bacon, to me: How do you know [DM] so well?!

Day two of my local con involved buying a Keyblade (Yesss!!!), a special dice mat (the leather on the outside changes color with heat like those old pencils in elementary school!!!), making a solid second of eye contact with Tom Holland (accompanying a friend’s brother to his photo op and had to dodge around the back to stand by the exit---somehow I ended up at the front of the group so he looked at me first and smiled omgomgomg he’s shorter in person but I’m short so maybe it’s just me), a vendor describing The Dragon Prince as “it’s like if Sokka had a DnD group” to me when I said I still haven’t watched it, AND, best of all, @itsbaconbits getting me the BEST early Christmas present ever

I should start logging my hours with these projects. This was quite a joy to make! I learned a lot of techniques for creating ice effects... However, none were to my liking, so I had to create my own. Ah the joys of Photoshop. It wasn’t meant to be one of my characters, but he suddenly transformed into a revamped version of my old friend: Frazier. He usually wears a blindfold over his difficult-to-create-in-photoshop-eyes. But despite my complaints, it was fun to figure out exactly how they look.
