Becoming Better
I used to THINK I was sooooo fat, I hated how dark my skin was, and I was sad af I never got asked to a single school dance. One day I woke up and said enough was enough! I decided I was going to take control of how I felt about my reflection. It was time to be the sexy young woman I was dreaming of rather than asking my mother if I looked fat everytime I left.
There were 2 possible ways to achieve my task, 1. Decide out of nowhere I liked the way I looked, or 2. Change the way I looked. By the next year, my goal had been smashed PLUS SOME. All I was focused on was getting super skinny and I did just that. Not only did I lose the gut but my chubby cheeks, my breast, and my juicy legs disappeared as well. I quickly realized that getting skinny was not the answer to my self-esteem issues. It took the past two years to build a solid foundation for the woman I am still growing into every second. Not only have I gained back some vicious legs but my confidence is sky high and my ability to produce income has increased as well. I have learned so many new ways to invest into myself, increase my positive self-talk, and although it's gotten better, I'm still working on demanding higher levels of respect from people I choose to date.
I took this journey to get sexy, to feel better, and to make my ex boyfriend call me (he did, all of them did). I knew that I would struggle less when it came to facing my reflection but I never knew I would begin to look back at old pictures of myself and discover how beautiful I have always been. Choosing to work on my self esteem forced me to explore hidden areas in both my heart and my brain.
Heres some things I discovered-
Feeling good about yourself matters. Being ok with who you are matters. Taking the time to explore new ways to live matters. Learning what your limits are matters and it only comes from pushing them. Building solid bonds with quality people matters. Respecting others matters. Race doesn't matter. Age doesn't matter. Sexual orientation doesn't matter. Other people's opinions do not matter. Most importantly I realized that my "sexy" is deep within my heart, body, and soul. My heart pumps authenticity, honesty, loyalty, drive, energy, creativity, positivity, and sexuality. I refuse to judge anyone for going against the grain because that's all I know how to do.
My name is Alicea Thomas. Most people know me as MAXX and it's only getting BETTER.

My Mission
To allow people the space to be their most authentic self by being 100% me. To push for the extra or to be happy with the least as long as it's real.
-I believe in you, I love you the way you are, I am proud of you as long as you are happy and making decisions on your own, and I support your decision to chase your dreams.
This mission statement is my first draft, this is the first mission statement i have ever wrote down and truly believed in, it didnt take hours to come up with, and the reason it didnt was because Ive been trying my hardest to be more myself... Im misunderstood and I am the blacksheep but my beliefs are my beliefs, my morals are my morals. and my vision is my vision.
