In case it wasn't mentioned yet ( which it might have been, I'm not caught up on your let's read ) the thing with John's birthday and the magic 8-ball was a reference to the fact that while in story it was his birthday in real life it was months later. There will be more references to real life time progression in regards to updates made on Christmas.

Right, somebody clued me in to that earlier, but I will look out for future references related to Christmas!

On the Mspa forums I have a joined a sgrub roleplay that hasn't started yet where all the trolls are based on Greek gods. My character is a male limeblood named Olaplo Dessol based on Apollo. He is a Seer of Time and his planet is the Land of Hourglasses and String, now I'm wondering what his personal Quest should be, do you have any suggestions?

As I’ve said before, there are 4 basic quest types. 

Protect

Build

Learn

Restore

Pick the one that will complement/challenge him the most that fits with his personality. 

Maybe consider 

Untangle the string (restore?)

Learn what it’s made of/where it came from (learn)

Get rid of it (protect)

And I can’t think of one for build off the top of my head. But you see where I’m coming from.
