Foam helmet progression. From left to right. I started with @evilted_channel hero helmet. Then i made a patern over it which made the helmet, in the middle, way to big. The last helmet is almost the same pattern scaled down. Still had to trim the bottom of the helmet and the inner seam. 9 hours total I think. Latergram on the foam progress of my Fallout Combat Armor by @folkenstal This is just the thigh armor. I used the circular foam cutters from @tntcosplaysupply which is fun to use. At some point with all this foam armor I am making I know I will need to stop and start sewing. Think I will spend a few more nights finishing what I can and learning what I can. I don't always get to work on costumes and foam, but when I do I come up with some pretty good stuff. EVA foam is not hard to work with, but it takes time. I have over analysed these shins a bit to much. "Paralyses by Analyzes" kind of situation. Sometimes you have to just make the mistakes and for go the fear or it will never happen. EVA floor mats glued with @bargecement. I even sewed the velcro on the elastic before gluing the other ends. Little tight on the ankles and to lose on the upper half. I might have to reglue the or something. We will see. Plastidip, rust-oleum Regal Red 7765.
