So Tuesday ( yesterday ), a very well known, customer in California ( we are in Milwaukee ) calls and says, “We know this is ridiculous to ask of you, but we have this widget that we need a bunch of by Thursday. And it’s a finicky little part with tiny threads, too. “ So of course, we say,” No problem! We have your back. “ So we get on the horn and immediately order 3 feet of a special Stainless steel round stock in, and OVERNIGHT it with morning delivery in effort to make schedule. I opened the shipping tube to find this just now. There is even a checklist that someone supposedly read and verified this piece of errr... umm...
