Closed starter for: @itskimibtchh Location: Berlioz's apartment
Berlioz hadn't expected his night to end up with Kimi sobbing in his arms. He hadn't been having the greatest night himself, already pretty gone when Kimi arrived. Just something to numb the pain, he told himself every night. He pushed his own emotions aside the best he could though to console his friend. One arm wrapped around her, the other hand gently rubbing circles on her back. "Hey, it's alright. She's home now." He tilted her chin up and gave her a half-smile. "I know you're sad and want to make up for lost time, but...I'm sure your mother would want you to still live, Kimi." Berlioz bit on the inside of his cheek, unsure of how to console her enough to calm her down. "You have to stop blaming yourself. This time of year doesn't help, it's stressful on a good day. Just...try to enjoy the present." Easier said than done. Berlioz should probably take his own advice, he thought. He let out a sigh that blew his hair away only for it to fall back into his face. "I'm sorry. I wish I knew how to help you." A frown crosses over his features. "Tell me, what do you need right now?" He looked into her eyes and brushed some tear dampened hair from her face. "I want to help you, you just have to tell me how."
