Went to a midnight screening of "Face/Off" (dir. John Woo, 1997) @videologybarandcinema - complete with drinking game - with @kris10felicetti and @timmypilgrims and it was incredible. Regrettably, this was my first time seeing this movie and boy is it BONKERS. Why is Castor Troy looked up to as the supreme villain when he looks goofy AF and like he just stepped out of a 70s disco? Why must Sean Archer repeatedly run his gross hands down the faces of almost every character in the movie? ✋😞✋😓✋😭 (Seriously I think it happens at least 50 times!) Why was swapping faces THE ONLY option to help save people from the bomb? What the fuck is with the Chiclets in Castor's I'm-about-to-do-bad-things preparation box? After a while you have to stop asking why and just enjoy the ride. 100% entertainment! #faceoff #faceoffmovie #itslikelookinginamirror #onlynot (at Videology Bar & Cinema)
